2002 Ranger Competition

LANSE, PA

Does your squadron have a ground team? Do you spend weekends training for that mission for the lost hiker or downed plane? 

If so, then this is the activity for you! Come put your skills to the test at the 2002 Ranger Team Competition. Even if your team is fairly new in working together, this is an excellent opportunity for training, challenges, and a fun competive atmosphere.

This is not only a competition, but an opportunity to fulfill certification requirements.

Competition will be based on a variety of ground team scenarios.

Teams are asked to pre-register to compete by October 24.

Teams may arrive on Friday October 25. Sign in begins 0730 Saturday Oct. 26

Directions to Competition Base:

From the intersection of I-80 and Rt. 53, continue on 53 north approximately 1mile. Turn right at small sign marked "Lanse" (second right). Follow unitl you reach the stop sign at the Lanse Post Office. Go straight through intersection. (If you follow road to right you'll go down a relatively steep hill to Winburne) Straight through intersection will become an unimproved road. Road will turn to the left and incline. Near the crest of the incline there will be an entrance into the Cahalen property. Approximate coordinates of N 40 57.24, W 78 07.13
